McCain predicts ‘there’s a lot more shoes to drop’ on Trump-Russia connection
The Washington Times ^ | March 12, 2017 | Ben Wolfgan

One of the Senate’s leading Republicans predicted Sunday that there are “a lot more shoes to drop” in the probe of President Trump’s connections to Russia and said Congress must call top Trump associates to Capitol Hill to testify.

Sen. John McCain of Arizona told CNN’s “State of the Union” program that he remains troubled by growing evidence that leading aides to the president communicated with Russia throughout the presidential campaign last year.

He specifically said longtime Trump confidant Roger Stone, who admitted last week to having conversations with the hacking group that claimed responsibility for the breach of Democratic Party emails, must come before Congress to answer questions.

“There’s a lot of things about our relations with Russia that trouble me a lot,” Mr. McCain said. “There’s a lot of aspects of this whole relationship with Russia and Vladimir Putin that requires further scrutiny, and so far I don’t think the American people have gotten all the answers. In fact, I think there’s a lot more shoes to drop from this centipede.”

It’s been revealed that ousted White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and Attorney General Jeff Sessions each had meetings or phone conversations with the Russian ambassador during last year’s campaign.

Democrats and other critics have seized on those communications to make their case that the Trump campaign may have worked with Russian agents during the election, or at least passively let those agents work against Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid.

Specifically, they say the Trump campaign may have encouraged or willingly turned a blind eye to Russian hacks of Democratic Party emails and messages of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign chief, John Podesta. Both email dumps were deeply embarrassing for the Clinton campaign.

“America has nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.” I’m telling ya, you can’t buy a better endorsement for president. That was an intended remark.

Agreed.

He had to have been poisoned.

Why don’t the Trump people do a slow trickle of daily information on John McSwamp’s miserable and traitorous record in the US military?

He not only was no hero, he was (and still is) a traitor.

Wasn’t McSwamp shown to be paid by Soros? Why is he not prosecuted for high crimes and misdemeanors? Treason?

McCain sounds just like his former aides, who populate the network shows with a constant stream of bile against Trump.

McCain is angry because Trump exposed McCain for the con-artist and anti-hero that he is. Remember this January 29th tweet?

McCain will be remembered for his reckless neo-con adventures in Libya and Syria -- and his support of ISIS. His career was killed by a Twitter strike.

“The same idiot who said the Navy Seal died for a failed mission just after his wife had been told her husband has died.”

The same idiot who was part of the Keating Five scandal, who left his wife for a younger woman, and who managed to lose in 2008 to the least qualified person ever to run for president (granted there was massive fraud, but a decent person/candidate should have put the 2008 election outside the margin of fraud). I’m ready to see John McCain disappear.

Trump is partly to blame for this, there was a good person running against McCain

Trump endorses Paul Ryan, John McCain

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump endorsed House Speaker Paul Ryan and Arizona Sen. John McCain on Friday, moving to mend an intra-party rift that has put the Republican presidential nominee at odds with its highest-ranking elected official. Trump's endorsements came at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

"We will have disagreements, but we will disagree as friends and never stop working together toward victory. And very importantly, toward real change," Trump said, reading off a prepared statement. "So in our shared mission, to make America great again, I support and endorse our speaker of the House, Paul Ryan."

Trump earlier in the week had declined to endorse Ryan and McCain, as well as New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte. "And while I'm at it, I hold in the highest esteem Sen. John McCain for his service to our country in uniform and in public office, and I fully support and endorse his re-election," said Trump, before backing Ayotte.

mccain has a huge case of POTUS envy.

he may be one of the most hypocritical pols of all time considering:

he’s trying to tie trump to russia, but has nothing to say about hildabeast selling Uranium One (20% of our uranium supply) to Russia for $100 chip in to Xlintonista Foundation.

wants to attack trump for DNC hacking, but has nothing to say about the 3 PAKI (ISI?) IT consultants working in the US House. not a word.

McCain is a treacherous Muslim Brotherhood tool with fly’s circling his head just like Hillary, manifesting that same demonic evil empowering him, he is of that exact same unclean spirit surrounding him, he fell on his sword to help elect the Obama creature who had that spirit operating directly inside him,

Ryan is a snake in the grass, he should never be trusted with anything important, he expects to use the same resources Obama, Hillary, McCain and Romney relied on to get the nomination for President, Soros is on his speed dial
