Denmark's Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen proposed on Sunday postponing a planned visit by Turkey's Prime Minister Binali Yilderim this month due to the diplomatic row between Turkey and the Netherlands.

"With the current Turkish attacks on Holland the meeting can not be seen separated from that. I have therefore proposed to my Turkish colleague that the meeting will be postponed," Rasmussen said in a press release.

Is Europe waking up? This suggests that they might be.as does Brexit.Let's see what happens in the upcoming French elections. The European Union recently filed formal charges of financial misconduct against Madame Le Pen...which tells me that they see her as a legitimate candidate...and threat.

Turkey has a law against political campaigning on Turkish issues taking place outside the country. So to get around the ban while still drumming up absentee ballots for the next referendum they are sending out high ranking officials to Europe on what they claim are state missions. This gets around the rule and the parties that are out of power can’t do the same so it gives Erdogan’s party an unfair advantage.

So from now until the referendum Turkey will try to flood Europe with official state visits.
