Meanwhile, I'll continue to enjoy the freedom I've had for 52 years now (Drinking age was 18 when I got my Driver's License.) if it's okay with you; and even if it's not.

I agree w your post. If we are going to ban people from having so much as one drink then let's ban those on beta blockers too. After all their reaction time is slowed and they're relaxed. 🙄 I can't believe certain FReepers on here. Empowering the government but then they'll be the first to bitch about it. I was a trauma ICU nurse for 6 years and have seen plenty of death and destruction at the hands of drunk drivers. The 0.05 population is NOT drunk and are not the ones causing these accidents. They are however the ones lining the government trough with heavy fines for no real reason.
