“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Too bad nobody in the House of Representatives had read Art of the Deal so we would not be starting at half a loaf and hoping for a slice from the Dems rather than starting with the entire loaf. Obamacare is a disaster for everyone and these desert Rinos in the District of Corruption do not care or realize it is destroying lives for most Americans. RyanCare is no different and if it were they would not have to mandate it with a penalty which is higher than ObamaCare’s. Guess they all missed the part of Trump’s speeches which said, repeal this monstrosity.

Most of us love what President Donald Jobs Trump is doing but he is not a Conservative from his core and is a recent arrival. It is not his fault he is pretty new to the fight, but this one is for the very soul of this movement. He understands why Dodd/Frank had to be repealed since he knows banking and the same with the EPA and our regulatory mess. He understands economics absolutely, but something like Obamacare is outside his normal day to day and is a Conservative philosophical issue which is a lot deeper that the gummit has no business in insurance which only a few in DC believe.

Until we have someone willing to not be reelected we will not have Obamacare repealed. Someone has to say, they broke it but I am going to fix it by eliminating it and that is not what politicians do. Someone needs to stand up for the insurance industry and allow it to do what it has done for two hundred years to begin to repair it. Right now it is in a million pieces thanks to the Dems taking away the preexisting conditions and underwriting policies for individuals.

The way insurance is supposed to work is everyone pays into a pool and when someone gets sick the pool pays the medical bills. The insurance companies had a sophisticated program of measuring risk of the policy owner by how healthy they would price the policy accordingly. In addition why had a variety of policies and the customer could decide how much care they needed as well as lifetime maximums which ten years ago were a million dollars and now would likely be two million. All of this allowed them to make the policy fit your need and rewarded the healthy and made the unhealthy pay a premium unless they owned the policy before their health issue since they could never cancel a person once they owned the policy.

The Marxists labeled underwriting as discrimination and made all the people want to eliminate the very thing which made insurance work for nearly everyone. They came up with ObiCare and made the insurance companies assume everyone were healthy males and allow everyone in at the same price. This forced the industry to assume everyone had cancer and rated the premiums accordingly. In my case as 62 yrs. of age my wife and I pay over $14,000 per year with a $5000 deductible which means we will pay $20,000 if we ever go to the hospital. Who can afford this? So we are paying all this money for only catastrophic coverage since they only underwrite for age and we are in the highest bracket and the only other carrier is even higher. We pay as if we are uninsurable which my wife does have a preexisting condition, but that is not factored in.

The biggest issue is what to do with the uninsurable.
There needs to be an uninsurable pool which will lose money and then underwrite the rest. This pool would have to be guaranteed by a reinsurance plan set up by the insurance companies to get us back to real insurance. As the population ages then that pool gets bigger although it will soon all be on Medicare bankrupting that program the insurance companies need to have the shackles taken off just like eliminating Dodd/Frank with the banks. There needs to be choices for people to fit their individual or group needs. Most of all the gummit needs to take their hands off the industry and let it fix itself.

Ryan should have went in with a full repeal and no replacement except some type of temporary high risk guarantee to help the insurance companies on their uninsurable pool to bridge the first couple years. The Dems would howl although not as loud as the Rino’s but the people would appreciate their courage and in a couple years when premiums came down would applaud them. This would make everyone declare whether they were for or against the voters and people could see for themselves.

The Dems are going to shriek no matter what the changes are so may as well go big. If it is defeated in the Sinate then you can always adjust down you can never adjust up. This is why this RyanCare is so infuriating since he only changed a couple of sentences and called it replaced. He should have took a torch to it and did away with the entire scheme, but his manager told him he would lose his chance at the presidency if he was too extreme so he wimped out.

Only a politician would think repeal and replace means tweak. Once again we are sold one thing only to have been given something completely different. Once again we are told the only way to get rid of rabid Marxism is to elect RepubliCrats only to be dissed once again. They say they have to do it in stages which may be the truth, but we do not see any vigor to get the job done. When it comes to DC you can always expect they are lying until proven otherwise and this is most likely the case. President Trump is not a Conservative purist and thinks there is a path to eliminating Obamacare when there really isn’t without pain and he needs to explain that to the voters. They broke it and there will be pain putting it back together.

We have the worst negotiators on the planet selling this Snakeoil to America. By all appearances RyanCare is every bit as bad as what it replaces. If it were not they would not have a mandate and people would want to buy it themselves. There would not be the 26 year rule forcing young people to pay premiums they would not buy otherwise since most would rather have a Vette and a Brunette than health insurance. This is another DC boondoggle being shoved down our throats by politicians while the other hand is in the lobbyist pocket. President Trump needs to veto this and send them back to the drawing board with a big box of Crayons.

Pray America woke

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

President Trump WON because Americans:

1. hate ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE/RyanCARE,
and want CHANGE;

2. hate Congress - including liar-Democrats
Ryan and McConnell,
and want CHANGE;

3. hate lying by Politicians who continue to be EXEMPT,
and want CHANGE.

==> RyanCARE is a rather obvious TRAP
to remove Pres. Trump
by the GOPe/Romney/Ryan
so that THEY will replace him.

It is hard to believe that it is not obvious
to Pres. Trump and the VP, that every time
they push the metamorphosed but hated
ObamaCARE/RyanCARE/(soon)TrumpCARE,
they are mortally hurting themselves,
for their RINO enemies.

Just turned them off. The hosts asked Chris Wallace, the Democrat, if the Democrat histtionics over Trump’s removal of US Attorney General’s were justified in b light of tge fact that new administrations exercise this right customarily. POS Democrat Wallace said it was more complicated than that. Turned it off at that point.

Totally cannot stand Chris Wallace. He has moved further and further left. He should be canned but wI’ll never happen because of who his daddy was. Truly an arrogant elist lib.

Good morning AB, All.

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread so reliably every week. Thank Bray for weekly wisdom and thank yon commenters, to include Cboldt, for commentary which helps flesh it all out for us.

This is my political “diary” from last week, a daily update from Tuesday through Friday this week. Enjoy the recap or please, just scroll on by.

Tuesday-date- 3/7/17 Daily Update

-And so it goes on with the Russian wire tapping.

Only now the wire taps are being done by the former American administration! In other words, the Obama administration.

Did you all hear that Don Knotts, former Mayor of Andy Griffith’s town, Mayberry?

Also we hear that this FBI head, James Comey, who has been all the place so much that I think he might actually be a Russian spy!

Wednesday-date-3/8/17
Daily Update

So a new release by Wikileaks revealing the CIA hacks on private citizens via smart phones came yesterday and we discover that our gubmint has been, eh, watching us.

Meanwhile the “replaced” Obamacare has been released although I haven’t laid an eyeball on it. Mark Levin, bitter radio personality who chose the wrong horse on the last presidential race evidently read it and he has some commentary I’d like to refute.

First, Levin goes on and on about this plan to cover “children” up to 26 years of age on their parents’ health plans had Mark all whacked.

I had that same problem with my daughter once she turned 19, back in the day. For if the “child” was going to college they were covered to age 22. If not, coverage stopped at age 18.

First of all, nobody gets a job with spectacular health care coverage much before age 26 anyway. To expect an adolescent to get employed and covered by employers’ health care is unrealistic.

Further, the cost of insuring people up to 26 years of age is not that expensive for God’s sake.

Let it be Mark and stop telling us we’re robbing our children.

You want to rob OUR children.

Next this thing about pre-existing conditions has Mark getting his pants stuck up his butt.

No we can’t buy fire insurance after the house burns down, or auto insurance after we wreck the car.

Health insurance is a little different. If some stupid person who didn’t have health insurance should suddenly get cancer, nobody’s going to tell the guy to get lost, go die somewhere alone you boob, who didn’t get health insurance.

That’s not going to happen.

Thus pre-existing conditions are covered and there has to be a way to do it. So everyone throws some money in the pot, maybe?

Mark Levin carried on so much, and he got that Senator Brat to rant and rail with him.

Mark Levin is still mad because he turned against the guy who eventually became our president and now he’s trying to make him look bad every chance he gets.

How very small of him.

Thursday-date-3/9/17
Daily Update

Heh. Yesterday was a so-called international women’s day

What a disaster it was.

It’s getting old with these communists trying to shove their silliness down our throats.

I heard there were some Russians marching in the women’s marches.

And yesterday the new repeal and replacement of Obamacare was rolled out.

I will be investigating this so tune in for daily updates.

Heh. Andrea Mitchell, a woman I despise for, well first she’s the ugliest woman on the planet, let me get that out of the way.

But yesterday she thrown out of the press room…WHAT A HOOT!

She thinks she just so special don’t she?

Friday-date-3/10/17 Daily Update

So right now the debate rages on for Obamacare repeal and replace.

House speaker Paul Ryan’s been out and about touting the soon-to-come reconstruction of this law.

And yet it’s still all vague and unclear.

Also, Ari Fleischer, former Dubya White House communications guy, has been out and about and trashing Trump.

I never did like that guy.

In November there was much discussion as to whether Ryan would survive politically. Sorry to see he has.

What (NAME)Care is really all about is how to fund charity work (doctor visits, drugs and hospital stays) without calling it "charity".

That's how we ended up with the word "entitlements". Because nobody wants to say that it is better to be rich than to be poor, or that Billie Holiday got it right: "God bless the child that's got his own".

So the Enthusiastic Puritans (Dems and Libs) who want to run everything screw up everybody's health insurance while the Reluctant Puritans (Reps and Conservatives) only want to tinker a little. But they both want to run your life, and neither wants to actually touch the poor people, or provide an actual solution.

One more Sunday Show comment; all Presidential appointments in this administration should expire at noon on January 20, 2021. And the next administration should have appointments that expire January 20, 2025. And so on.

The American form of government works best when people come together to serve the American people, THEN GO HOME. The US Constitution is not a mutual suicide pact, and it is also not a perpetual employee law.

Great post and yesterday I was right there with you.Today not as much.
I just finished an exhaustive study of Preet Bharara a Manhattan prosecutor who was hailed as a rock star by both sides of the aisle. Recently, it was revealed that like his predecessors Att. Gen Sessions and President Trump decided to clean house and fire all the prosecutors like all other incoming presidents do.
Problem is that they had a prior meeting with Bharara at Trump Plaza indicating that he could stay and he,Bharara, even did a press conference after the meeting indicating he planned to stay.
So what happened.
Bharara,an obama appointee, had prosecuted both sides of the aisle like DeBlasio,Cuomo and many others to give the appearance of fair and balanced. He was and still is equally hated by both sides of the aisle.
So what in the world was Trump doing? Why fire the guy especially with an upcoming trial where he was going after the worst mayor in the country Bill DeBlasio?
Seems ironic at best.
But, my rule is never ever second guess Trump. You will always get a sore ass and not be able to sit for at least a week.
It has happened to me 6 or 7 times. So I kept looking.
I found that Bharara had gone after Dinesh D’Sousa unfairly to put it mildly, he refused to go after big bankers, refused to go after Hillary, the foundation maybe pizzagate and Harry Reid.So right there was that enough for Trump to reconsider and get rid of the guy. Something told me there was more and there is.It's here:
..........................
The Justice Department…for 16 months has engaged in a scheme to undermine Congress’s spending authority by independently transferring dollars to President Obama’s political allies. The department is in the process of funneling more than half-a-billion dollars to liberal activist groups, at least some of which will actively support Democrats in the coming election.

It works likes this: The Justice Department(under obama) prosecutes cases against supposed corporate bad actors. Those companies agree to settlements that include financial penalties. Then Justice mandates that at least some of that penalty money be paid in the form of “donations” to nonprofits that supposedly aid consumers and bolster neighborhoods.

The Justice Department maintains a list of government-approved nonprofit beneficiaries. And surprise, surprise: Many of them are liberal activist groups. The National Council of La Raza. The National Urban League. The National Community Reinvestment Coalition. NeighborWorks America (which awards grants to left-leaning community organization groups, and has been compared with Acorn).

This strategy kicked off with the $13 billion J.P. Morgan settlement in late 2013, though in that case the bank was simply offered credit for donations to nonprofits. That changed with the Citigroup and Bank of America settlements, which outright required $150 million in donations. The BofA agreement contains a provision that potentially tees up nonprofit groups for another $490 million. Several smaller settlements follow the same mold.

So was Bharara a crusader or a bag man for leftist groups? I can’t regard him as a serious impartial reformer if he presided over what amounted to a shakedown to benefit left wing groups like La Raza (“The Race”).

Good riddance.

Too bad for Bharara that he didn’t bring charges against deBlasio when he had the opportunity. That will make a run for mayor less winnable for him.

Read more: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/03/mainstream_media_supplements_fake_news_with_fake_outrage_over_firing_of_us_attorney_preet_bharara.html#ixzz4b7AoRFF0
.....................
So seems Bharara was little more than a slick crook himself funneling hundreds of millions of fines from corps. into far left wing coffers.Game, set,Match, hes done, burnt, take him off the grill and toss him into the can.
...................
So back to bray going after Trump for seemingly caving to the NWO/cabalist Ryan who we all know is bad news, hates Trump, maybe conservatives more and is a shill for the NWO.
But,I have to wonder if my rule is still in place,do we really want to start second-guessing President Trump.I already know what happens to me when I do it,and I get tired of having to stand up......
