Going after, and actually prosecuting someone are two different things. Who knows if he would have ever brought charges. He'd been investigating Cuomo too, but perhaps this guy was putting his resume together in pursuit of something bigger down the road.

I just watched the video of Pirro and the fat pig Koko. How the hell did she know there were over 2,800 pings between Russian banks and Trump’s server? Who is this woman, and why is she in possession of information regarding all the investigations Bharara is working on? So much for confidentiality during investigations. The more I hear, the more this Bharara stinks to high heavens.
Perhaps Bharara’s resignation was requested for no other reason than to make it a complete sweep and a new start….if the review of potential candidates for incoming U.S. Attorneys showed that Bharara was worthy of bringing back on, then that option was always a possibility and perhaps that was always the intent. However, now that Bharara has made such a fuss about this, he may have just moved himself from the front to the back of the line…..

I can't find the actual statement that I read earlier but supposedly the Silver prosecution is due to Cuomo spilling the beans on him.
If that’s the case than a lot of publications got it all wrong in November.And it was a real stretch for Preet to do a press conference after meeting with Trump,makes no sense.

That may be what I am missing. Maybe Baharara was leaking big time,seems out of character but you never know.
Bharara is slick enough to have seen all that coming,hence the Nov. meeting.If there was no November meeting Bharara’s actions would seem bizarre even childish. But, keeping that in mind you have to wonder,what else is going on.

Good point. Sounds like some leaking going on.
I live in New York State, but haven’t been following anything about Cuomo. It was always speculation that one of the reasons Mario Cuomo never ran for President was because of his ties to organized crime. He was a lousy Governor, and his son is no better. As of January this year, Silver’s still out of bail awaiting appeal. So much for justice.
