Better than nothing? We own the damn Congress and Senate,
enough of this settling sh*t and let’s do it right the first time.
Mark Levin detailed on air last night how the Senate makes the rules and it is very easy for them to repeal the health care bill and all the other things at once.
The problem is they want to keep Obamacare because after all they helped get it passed and thus supported it.
If I remember correctly obamacare didn’t get any gop votes ... not even one.
A crap sandwich is better than nothing. You first. Bon Apatite.
“The only problem with our medical care was government meddling”
I hate the meddling, but when you pay 80% of the costs, you tend to want to have a say in the product.
The free market is ALWAYS the solution. We need to keep the faith. No one person can control the free market, it’s a force of nature. And it’s one one of the mechanisms God uses to express His will in the world —just as He uses storms, volcanoes, droughts, etc. and raises up or causes the downfall of certain leaders.
The GOPe is pushing half measures. REPEAL Obamacare already! Get rid of it and don’t look back. And while you’re at it, do the same for Medicare and Medicaid. Don’t “block grant” them. Don’t pare them back. Set fire to the whole idea of health care as an “entitlement.” Then sit back and watch in awe as the free market swoops in and provides something far better for a lot less money.
The government shouldn’t be paying any of the costs.
You are correct 100%
I’d love to know how things would be if we didn’t have to pay for:
Illegals going to the ER for everything, Illegals getting hurt in construction accidents and ending up in the ER/OR/ICU, Illegals not sucking the life out of Medicare because they were lucky enough to make it across the border and pop out a kid or five, Refugees getting the whole book of benefits thrown at them upon their arrival, Family members of illegals that are reunited under DACA and DAPA that come here for medical treatment under Medicare, “Medical Tourists”(id the Chinese) coming here and having kids in American hospitals thus gaining citizenship for the little f*cker, Some hood rat having kids like it’s her job, Some hood rat having kids before they turn 14 and then continuing the cycle for another 10 or 15 years, the rampant and out of control fraud associated with SSI.
I sure would like to know just how well off this country would be if we weren’t paying all that, on a daily basis. And yet, we can’t even get our elected officials to get even a, 1% tax on remittances back to the 3rd world sh*tholes these people came from.
It only takes 3 repub senators to kill it.
The conservatives have 3. The liberals have 3. No one has any idea how they could compromise.
If they don’t, we keep ObamaCare laws and they know it.
I can’t help but wondering if that’s what both sides want. If they know that’s the direction they’re heading, wouldn’t they change direction? And if they don’t, who’s to say that isn’t the direction they want to go.
Their highly principled rhetoric notwithstanding.
“The government shouldnt be paying any of the costs”
I shouldn’t eat too many donuts.
Then Kill Obamacare first, then they will be motivated.
You can’t kill it without replacing it. The lib repubs won’t support that.
A bad bill is worse than no bill. Ryancare is just like the speaker who proposed it: a worthless piece of $$$$.
With Ryancare, we are completely and utterly screwed.
Pelosicare if left in place will completely collapse.
We’d be better off with it completely collapsing. What we’d get after the collapse will be better than what we’ll get under Ryancare.
Yes you can
How?
Keeping pelosicare for now might be the best alternative amongst bad choices.
Why: the costs are so high and the willingness to comply so low, it’ll likely collapse on its own soon enough. Couple that with the administration not willing to enforce the mandates and soon the only people on it will be folks with horrible illnesses.
It’ll be like the 55 mph speed limit. Rarely obeyed, universally hated.
Just like before
