The clovis peoples are believed to be the ancestors of todays American Indians, The Solutrean hypothesis represents the arrival of peoples from Europe.
............
Not necessarily. The particular type of arrowheads that distinguished the clovis people disappeared during the younger dryas. So its thought that the clovis people that made the clovis arrow heads —died out along with the megafauna. The types of arrowheads that occur after the younger dryas are very different —suggesting that very different peoples made them.
Haven’t American Indians been subjected to DNA “tracing” to see who they are linked to genetically or from whom they may have come?
It would be logical that there were multiple different migrantions into the Americas, and each group developing tools to fit their needs. Often, copying tools they encountered along the way.
