No doubt he has to be a Liberal. Duke,UNC are Liberal territory. But UNC could have got a much better coach. He can not carry Smith’s Jock Strap.I personally think he is a girly man.
Coach K is a conservative who did criticize Obama.
I pull for Carolina and will continue to do so. Carolina did talk to quite a few candidates before “trying out” Matt Dougherty and eventually landing Roy Williams. And he has been very successful and need not worry about sniffing anybody’s jock strap. It’s a game. A little reminder also, Dean Smith was quite a coach but he was also a staunch Democrat and very involved in state politics. It wasn’t fun (as a Carolina fan) seeing Coach Smith in commercials on TV and on the radio, campaigning for liberals here in NC.
The dirty little “secret” (well, not really a secret) is the extremely liberal snowflake campus down the street in Durham puts up with very conservative Coach K only because he continues to win. I guess there is only one thing more important than politics at Duke. And that is beating Carolina.
