It not consistency. The Hell Angels and other MC’s ARE Motorcycle Clubs. The American Legion Riders are NOT a Motorcycle Club and are not recognized as such.

Yes they can allow Legion colors and prohibit Hell’s Angels, Banditos, etc. They just don’t have the balls to do it.

Thank you- if they let them in (with Motorcycle Patched
vests) they would have to let ALL in and at Everyone of their restaurants too) I am a legion member-

they should have Just removed their vest-no big deal-
walk into your legion hall- sign in- (even non members)-
stand at attention when raising the legion flags- and remove your cover- Including bandanas!

All sorts of decorum and rules should be followed-

I wish I could wear an American Legion vest. I served four years in the United States Air Force, but there is a seven year stretch between the end of the Vietnam war in 1975 and the Grenada war in 1982 that is not eligible.

I served from 1977 to 1981...

Just called the store: 616-224-880. Was on hold for a long time and then explained to the manager that their policy was "uncool" regarding American Legion Riders who are Veterans who have sacrificed to defend the right for Busters to exist. She said getting a lot of calls and will forward my concern to corporate.

I also said I understand dress codes, but after explaining the difference between vest patches, she implied the manager in question didn't know the difference. She said the incident is under review. We'll see.
