Kalifornia is America’s largest tumor.
To: nickcarraway
Nope — raise the voting age nationally to 35, except for military veterans.
To: nickcarraway
Why 17, why not 13? /sarcasm.
If anything it needs to be raised.
To: nickcarraway
in california, kids don’t even know how to read at 17. Guess that’s the point of letting them vote.

HAHAHA -— Our great overrun state must have MANY prospective voters (legal and illegal) in that age window...in fact, just look at every high school.
Stinking RATS.

Isn't this the state that just
raised the smoking age to 21?
So, exactly how mature do these state legislators really see 17-year-old people?
To: nickcarraway
Voting age should be returned to age 21.

And since most will vote for Democrats this just solidifies their power. Now watch the same people cry for a national popular vote for president, with a new bonus for future Dems.

If People can stay on their Parent’s Health Insurance until they are 26 Years Old the Voting Age should be raised to 26.

In California, they would be best off if 2-year-olds could vote. Among other things, they might have more problem with abortion than the leftist libertines who call the shots now.
To: nickcarraway
state lawmakers are grappling with questions about the maturity of 17 year olds What needs to be addressed is the maturity of Californians.

No sensible state would add MORE voters who don’t pay any taxes or own any property. The voting age should be 25, at minimum.

Hey, I’ve got an idea.
On the birth certificate, where the little footprint goes( do they still do that?) if the print is the left foot, the kid will forever be counted as a dim vote.
If the right foot is used, a repub.
How about it assemblyman.

Seventeen year olds agree: they know FAR MORE about EVERYTHING, than their parents and all the blue hairs put together! (I know I did when I was seventeen). So BY ALL MEANS, give them the vote! Why should a bunch of OLD PEOPLE (anyone over thirty) be able to make all the decisions? /sarc
To: nickcarraway
The correct Republican response to this would be to propose a “constitutional amendment” changing all elections to the first week of “spring break”.

If a 2 year old can decide he wants to be a different gender, then they should be mature enough to elect democrats! (What this is REALLY about).
