I take an entirely different tack on all this.

I think Lindsey Gayraham is distancing himself from John McCainiac.

I think he knows what’s gonna go down, and it won’t be pretty for Obama and company, including McCainiac.

Now, you might note the lack of honor exhibited by someone who ditches an ally (JM (R)-AZ) at the drop of a hat — and you’d be right — but I still think this is how it’s going down.
