My BIL deals with the back issue. His drug of choice is weed. He swears it reduces the pain. But there isn’t a 1 size fits all. You have to find the type that works for you. My sister smokes one type and he smokes another type.

These busts we are seeing lately for amped up fentanyl and such really terrify me, in that these are just a small percentage. Our country must be awash in drugs. And to think that EMTs dare not get any dust/powder on them. I am so lucky.
I did see someone pointed out as a recovering meth head. Poor thing. There was also a child. Young, but so old looking the woman was.

I have a police scanner, next to elderly needing assistance, overdose/attempted suicide calls represent a large number of dispatches, most are teens or low-mid 20-somethings.
Local grocery store hires a lot of young people, most don't last very long for whatever reason(work ethic???) One thing I've noticed over the last few years...how many of these young people have this "distant" look about them, almost zombie like the way they talk/act, it's like they are in a trance.
So much of today's youth are lost due to the constant garbage being fed to them from those on the other(dark)side of the culture war.
We know foreign instigators(Mexico/China)are playing a large role for their part of the drug epidemic, but domestic rats who turn a blind eye(if not down-right complicit)have blood on their hands also. That long list of political/financial profiteers includes(of course)the left-wing MSM.
It is a serious issue that threatens the future of the country, as such, it should be dealt with harshly, not with kid gloves...before it gets totally out of hand.
