As far as my Samsung TV listening to me, I want to know how the output circuitry which is driving the speaker can suddenly act like input circuitry powering a microphone. Looking at it just from the hardware perspective, it doesn't really make sense to me.

WikiLeaks didn’t tell us anything we didn’t know anyway. That’s why everyone has tape over their laptop camera and smart TV’s. I was so disappointed. I want names.

Too clarify, only smart tv’s with microphones, and allegedly only certain Samsung tv’s, are subject to this hack.
