By attaching that issue to this investigation, it almost concedes there was a need for it, to find out if there was collusion.

Isn’t all testimony before Congress under oath?

And Comey will be questioned about wiretaps on Trump...and he will tell the truth.

This is a big deal.

Doesn't mean those lying to Congress will be prosecuted.

Congress is a political body.

But, technically, lying to Congress or to the Feds is a crime.

Setup alert to make the POTUS look like a nut job.

James Comey
Mike Rogers
James Clapper
John Brennan
Sally Yates

Which one of these do you trust?

Is there a strategic reason Comey was kept on?
________________________________________

I think President Trump knew what was going on all along. He is keeping Comey on to play with him. Let Comey hang himself with his own lies. Or, let Comey redeem himself with being honest.

Its business. You test them to see what they are ade off.
Sometimes you just have to let the arses do it to themselves.

So far Comey has seemed to be on both sides of a number of issues.

You could call him in on a Tuesday and the following Thursday and you’d get different testimony.

People whose positions have required Senate confirmation are supposedly already under oath when they testify before congress. In reality it allows them wiggle room for their lying.

I’m not sure what Trump’s goal is with him.

It had been my opinion that there might be some dirty work he wanted taken care of before he made a change there. Then he could install his own guy with a clean slate, the ugly charged to Comey.

That hasn’t seemed to play out.

Still curious what’s up.

All, Don't know if you saw O'Reilly's interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (one of the few senators I trust), who is on the Senate Intel Committee:

O'Reilly relentlessly and occasionally obnoxiously asked Cotton if he knew who leaked the documents. Cotton cannot reveal this stuff, but he repeatedly said that the documents were in the hands of the Obama Justice Department.

That's as far as he would go, but reading between the lines---and as a self-admitted partisan, I could be reading too much into this---Cotton seemed to say 1) "Yes, I have seen the wiretap/FISA warrants," 2) "Obviously I know who ordered them, and it would be someone in the Obama Justice Dept., namely Lynch." I got the sense that Trump was ENTIRELY cleared of "collusion" and that they were STRONGLY focused on getting to the bottom of the leaks.

Wasn’t Mike Rogers the one who tipped off Trump?
