There is no doubt in my mind that this dissemination and disclosure was carried out with Obama's knowledge and approval. It is the same MO as his spreading of illicitly-obtained information about DJT among the sixteen intelligence agencies prior to his departure.

The motive is Obama's personal ideology, such as it is: communism and Islam. Obama wanted to destroy as much of America as he could during his term in office. This is likely just a small portion of his farewell gift to the country.

An analogous question would be: why did Soros get such a kick out of sending Hungarian Jews to the death camps in 1943 and 1944 that he called it the "happiest time of my life"? He had little monetary reward. The motive was the same as Obama's: to destroy the underpinnings of civilization his mental illness caused him to hate.

We become susceptible to such individuals when we lose our faith.
