“Im always a bit skeptical when someone uses phrases like blow wide open or bombshell revelation.....................”
Or ‘bugged’ when Trump said wire-tapped.
In today’s world, I think the terms are interchangeable. Most people don’t know the difference..........
0dunga's Secret Service team could have planted bugs, wire-tap equipment on phones, and God only knows what else is available these days..
It's not FINDING BUGS that matters. It's WHO'S DOING THE SWEEPING FOR BUGS that matters. If a traitorous team of sweepers shows up and they intentionally IGNORE certain bugs, then.. THEN WHAT?
Oh well then, if Obama’s CIA and FBI bugged the Tower then we will just ignore it, since we are now being herded to think ‘wire tapped’ ...
I think the difference between “bugged” and “wiretapped” is a lot finer than the way that the election was “hacked” has been used since November. I can live with the former being blurred, because essentially the conclusion is the same, however, Hacking the DNC servers is NOT the same as Hacking an election. Hacking an election infers that voting machines were tampered with, which nobody is claiming. I would really love for DJT to come out and say this “hacked election” stuff is bull excrement ... it was the DNC servers that were hacked, and that nobody is claiming that what was released is false. Just because the Dems got caught with their pants down does not mean that it was not a good election. The fact DJT won, in spite of the Obama bug/wire-tap/whatever is testament to just how above board this election actually was.
There is technology that is able to detect if your telephone is being “tapped”. It would be part of a sweep regimen that any high tech security outfit would perform (such as the Secret Service).
However, the more sophisticated form of “tapping” can be very hard to detect as a “side channel” in the telephone switch (central office matrix) may be electronically paralleled. This would not cause a detectable drop in the line voltage.
In the Trump Tower, they likely would have an internal telephone switch matrix system (PBX). Not sure how to detect a “tap” at the Telephone Central office with a PBX in between.
Maybe some guru could provide insight here...
Trump: “Silly me... I meant BUGGED.”
As far as I’m concerned, “wire-tapped” or “bugged” are all terms that can be used under the umbrella of “surveillance”. The “virtual” wire-tap could be software installed on a computer or router. I don’t think it is wrong to use the terms interchangeably, I wouldn’t get hung up on it.
Why not both. They aren’t mutually exclusive. I wouldn’t put anything past the Obunga gang.
I really just kind not understand the frenzy around the term “wire-tap” that Trump used. That is a concept that the whole word is conversant with, an umbrella term that includes all forms of electronic surveillance.
