She was born in Canada and her parents are Canadian citizens. Her mother has been stopped in the past, and so has she, so there is probably some history of contacts with groups that are not okay. I don’t know. Indians are not usually a problem; Pakistanis (mostly Muslim) are. There are some Indian Muslims, but I don’t know if she was one of them.

So there’s more than meets the eye here, and she’s not being refused entry because she’s Indian...India isn’t even on the list.

Probably has the same name and familial connections as a prohibited person. The system probably keeps flagging her due to that.

When crossing the US border from Canada, once you or anyone in your party has been flagged ONCE, you are automatically flagged every time you cross the border from that time forward.
