Beauty and the Beast star Emma Watson is an outspoken feminist and defender of gender equality. But, to her, that doesnt include championing the rights of unborn baby girls (or boys).
Vanity Fair recently filmed Watson giving advice remotely through an iPad at New York's Grand Central Station. For just two dollars, the magazines man on the street Derek Blasberg promised commuters that the 26-year-old actress would answer any question.
And that she did. Watson offered advice on everything from relationships to New York City sightseeing. One young man praised Watsons HeForShe gender equality campaign as very inspiring in her role as UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador.
Are you a feminist? she asked him from the iPad screen.
He responded in the affirmative. Im definitely against sexism, he said. Im definitely against, you know, arranged marriages, and Im definitely pro-choice.
Watson applauded, Youre obviously a complete legend and definitely a feminist.
At the very end, Blasberg pointed to the dollar bills that commuters had paid for Watsons recommendations. What am I going to do with all this stuff? he wanted to know.
Watson had an answer: Americas largest abortion provider.
Oh my god, the money! It has to go to Planned Parenthood, she insisted. Planned Parenthood, theyre the best.
Vanity Fair confirmed at the end of the video that All proceeds from Emmas advice booth have been donated to Planned Parenthood.
While the video was filmed on Valentines Day, the magazine published it two weeks later in anticipation of Watson appearing on Vanity Fairs March cover and inside its controversial photoshoot. Full video below.
What she does with her own money is her business.
As long as she doesn’t demand that everyone else ‘donate’.
Emma ,,, I am in agreement with your support of planned parenthood ,, provided the abortions are preformed on hard core leftist such as you . Otherwise I remain pro-life .
Ahhhh, celebrities. Is there anything that they don’t know?
Rats. I had gotten past the whole gay character thing and was still going to see the movie but now I can’t. Oh well. It will be on TV in a few months and I can surf in and out on TV. I’ll sit and down and explain it to my granddaughter (16) but I’m guessing that either her mother or stepmother will take her. But I do enjoy have “same sex” and “pro-life” discussions with her.
Why does Emma hate innocent little children?
Because “avada kedavra” doesn’t work in real life?
celebrities are smarter than us dirty common folk, dontcha know! :)
She’s a Death Eater.
Oh !!! That Emma Watson ,, I hear this movie is about perverted homosexual behavior . I hope the move is a total dive with only 3% or less of the population watching . I consider this movie to be “sodomentry” . I think I just invented a new word .
I wouldn’t be one bit surprised to find out that most celebrities who do actually donate to charity donate to this favorite charity on the Left. It’s their form of doing “good” and “giving back”. They can then trumpet their generosity and their self-defined goodness to the world. Their peers will cheer them on. Then these narcissists can feel even better about themselves than they did before they gave so generously to this corrupt organization that gleefully promotes the destruction of the most vulnerable and innocent form of human life.
Check her papers.
I would.
Liberals don't donate their OWN money. They just want to tell you what to do with yours.
They’re the best at industrial strength murder.
then Emma writes it off on her taxes and deducts the abortions from her earnings...just charming
As though we need another reason to boycott Hollywood.
PING!
Why on earth would anyone be surprised, born and raised under socialism, and master indoctrinated in a liberal University.
Another leftist actress shoots herself in the foot by crusading for the “in” causes.
On the list, along with Hanoi Jane, Ben & Jerry’s, Starbucks, Target, Kellogs, Nordstrom....Its getting to be a long list.
