I doubt it; I found Dan Bongino's theory that the Secret Service just found the evidence of wiretapping in the Trump Tower as a result of an ECM sweep more plausible. If Obama's plumbers had not leaked so much information that could only have been eavesdropping to the MSM, perhaps it would have gone undetected longer, or perhaps the plumbers had their own leaks ...

Why is he referring to Trump as the President-Elect. This interview was done on March 5. The only way to interpret it is he said President Elect at the time, which means from Nov 8 onward. But the time frame we are talking about is in October. So, the first part of his statement is meaningless. Next we have as a candidate, or against his campaign. Of course the wiretap wasn't against him as a candidate or his campaign. The wiretap was specifically against the server at Trump Tower. So the other half of his statement is meaningless also.

Parsing of words. We all know that's what they do. It won't work this time. We also know that Clapper is a big liar! They are plenty scared right and will pull out every lying trick they know! Again, IT WON'T WORK THIS TIME !

Bongino was Secret Service during the Obama years so he knows a lot about this issue that I do not. We will see if his theory is borne out in public. Obviously President Trump just learned he was tapped in Trump Tower before the election and blames Obama, leaving us to guess what he just learned to trigger this very public accusation against a former president.

The thing is, the press knows this is true, since they were the ones who told us it was true in the first place.

What has changed is simply this: when they told us Trump was under investigation, they did so believing it hurt Trump. Now that they realize this may actually help him, and hurt them, bang! Down the memory hole it goes.
