Another Freeper made a very astute point earlier today:
Ex-presidents rarely ever hang around in Washington after they leave office. If they do, it's not to stay connected to the political scene. They only hang around Washington if they know they have to do damage control over devastating revelations about their administration.
We’d have to go back and look at what did the DC swamp do after JFK won? What did they do to him?
