That is a good question. Did he only recuse himself from investigations into Russian tampering? What about POTUS himself (Obama) tampering?

If this is true there can only be an independent counsel. You have a sitting President as victim and a former President as the accused. Can’t find anything with more politics than this so any appointee would be recused to include Sessions.
