His twitter feed has a lot of info. I posted a few of his tweets on my social media and the haters don’t believe it.

This story will not go away. This is as big as it gets and many on the left who are wary of government surveillance are going to balk at carrying water on this just like those of us who support Trump.

Unbelievable. The Lt. Col on Fox and Friends this morning was right. This story represents Soviet era espionage and it also represents a real violation of law, ethics, and the modicum of decency that is the hallmark of the American election system and transitions of power. I saw the rumblings and pondered the leaks as all of us did, but again to state the obvious - there is NO WAY that Trump drops this bomb without having the proof on his desk. No way.

This will suck the air out of every news cycle as more and more Americans comprehend what happened. The sitting President, a surrogate of Clinton, used the intelligence apparatus of the United States to wiretap the opposition candidate. This is the kind of crap you expect in third world countries. This also represents a true violation of the trust and authority we give our intelligence services. They are supposed to be apolitical. They are obviously not as we have already seen with the leaks.

I have often lamented the fact that many of us here on FR get carried away with “smoking gun” stories and we overstate the implications and end up disappointed. I try to be pragmatic and have reasonable expectations for news events. This one is entirely different and I believe it is something that the American people will understand and get upset about. The use of the intelligence apparatus for political purposes is something that cannot be explained satisfactorily. The news cycle recently with “Russia hacked” and “Russia influence” makes much more sense now. People in the know on the left knew this was coming - that is why they have been hysterically throwing out all the veiled accusations with not one shred of proof. Those at the top already knew about this and the underlings have carried the message despite having no proof.

The “Russian influence” story may have been about this all along. Were they setting the stage in anticipation of the thermonuclear tweet that Trump dropped this morning? Can you begin to imagine if Bush had wiretapped Obama during the campaign?
