Thanks. As for links, i have been up all night skimming quickly. what i posted were somewhat in the form of quick notes to myself to try to make sense of everything that seemed to be unfolding. I don't recall exact links but it was just cumulative checking of stuff already out there and my contemporaneous and somewhat bleary first impressions. No worries, I think we will all learn a more complete story by tomorrow morning at the latest.

Yes. That is part of the Great Surmise that Trump is playing chess while his political opponents are playing checkers. Trump is part salesman and part showman. It's easy enough for him to avoid being viewed as just another politician since in fact he's just been a private citizen up until the election last November. To me, part of his MO is withholding his cards until the optimal time to play them. Maybe that is why there seem to be a few gaps in the narrative at this moment. I do have a feeling that this deliberately leaves the MSM and the liberals at a disadvantage for the time being. trump is artfully controlling the narrative which imho is a leadership skill. A leader can abuse this skill, of course. However, as long as trump seems to be going in a positive direction, i have a tendency not to mind it too much. i am absolutely aware of the potential pitfalls. and this imho is why character matters.
