Could you imagine seeing that as you driving down the highway?
Have driven thousands and thousands of hours on SoCal freeways. Seen enough things that this really wouldn’t surprise me.
I’m skeptical. This may be a computer-generated special effect.

I vote real.
I know a rail (dune buggy) going 100mph over a rice canal bridge will allow one to see the tops of trees.
I think it might cause me to crash actually, thinking someone was throwing something in my path.
Don’t bother the CHP. Darwin is closely examining him for an award. http://www.darwinawards.com/
Very real. The guy did a huge bounce and wipes out on the landing. I don’t doubt he suffered at least minor injuries. No video hijinx here.
I drive that road five days a week. Would have loved to have seen him flying across the road in front of me.
I’ve ridden dirt bikes in that area a lot. I didn’t know you could still ride there.
I vote real.
You only live once.
What no backflip?
Very reckless towards others. There were several drivers on the road that had not previously chosen to be included on that stunt.

This is on the news KCAL9 right now.
Investigate yes, but I wonder if a specific law was broken. Perhaps, the CHP will use a catch all law like unsafe act.
The rider did not seem to touch the roadway and it looked like controlled flight to me and it is not illegal to fly over a freeway as it is done daily just not in this manner. So maybe the FAA has something they can call him on like no operable landing lights or no pilots license.
A rider near me did a 297’ dirt-to-dirt jump. I wasn’t there but it was televised locally.
