Sorry, but this State was Blue for many years. It will be Blue again very soon unless Trump’s immigration plans are completely implemented, there is an end to “anchor babies” and if DACA is defeated.
The economy also has to stay strong. Texas has invaders, both from south of the border and liberal invaders from Yankee States moving into Austin and DFW metro areas. Unfortunately, both invaders bring their old habits with them.

And the Titanic is unsinkable. And Pearl Harbor can never be successfully attacked by air.
I'm not a Texan, so I can't really say how feasible a Dem takeover is or is not. But history teaches us to never say never.
