Sessions: We’re Having ‘A Lot of’ ‘Troubling’ Leaks, ‘A Lot of It Would Appear To Be In Violation..
Breitbart ^ | 2 Mar 2017 | IAN HANCHETT

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated, “we are having a lot of leaks today in Washington, that I do believe are troubling. A lot of it would appear to be in violation of the law, and it’s an unhealthy trend, and we’ve got to do better about it.”

Sessions also said he never considered amending his statement to the Senate about his meetings with Russia’s ambassador before now, and commented on his decision to recuse himself from any investigations pertaining to the Trump campaign by stating, “we had a full meeting some — a week or so ago, and planned to have a meeting today. It was on our schedule to make a final decision about whether or not I should recuse myself. And the reason I believed I should recuse myself is because I was involved in the campaign.”

(snip)

When asked if he thought Russia favored Trump, Sessions stated he didn’t know, and you would have to ask them. He further said that he thinks the truth will come out as to whether Russia influenced the election.

Sessions later said, “Well, we are having a lot of leaks today in Washington, that I do believe are troubling. A lot of it would appear to be in violation of the law, and it’s an unhealthy trend, and we’ve got to do better about it. I do believe every department needs to take a greater interest in maintaining proper security.”

I hope he launches a serious investigation and prosecutes the people involved. Obama, of course, set all this up, and he probably can’t be prosecuted because he did it while he was still President. But a lot of other people are surely open to prosecution.

Why are Republicans such idiots? The proper answer to the question did Russia favor Trump is absolutely not. They would have preferred Hillary who is weekend standing up for America.

Surely if conspiracy is proven, Obozo could be swept up in it. At least I pray so.

I don’t know much about Sen. Sessions, but hope he’s playing his cards close to his vest. Getting leaks plugged and prosecuted with much as much publicity and punishment as possible has got to happen.

Sessions needs to target VJ and Holder along with cleaning house at DOJ.
Draining the Swamp will not be possible until this happens.

I strongly believe several dozen dep’t of state staffers need to be abruptly arrested, handcuffed, and frogmarched out from behind their desks. And many hundreds of folks need to lose their security clearances. And I mean right f’in now.

Quick, someone call the Attorney General!

Hey Jeff! Since you won’t be involved with chasing rainbows and unicorns involved in the fascist left’s Rooskie Hacking myth, why not use the time to fire some of these leaking Obama bastards.

Session's ill considered recusal ensures such leaks will continue and intensify.

It also opens the door for a special prosecutor. Plamegate anyone????

Well gee whiz Jeff maybe if you ask them nice they’ll stop.
Sounds like this guy is bringing marshmallows to a gun fight.

Maybe he could talk to the AG and start taking this as seriously as the rhetoric by starting investigations and prosecuting violators.

He can't now because he's sitting on the bench.

There people working next to the leakers probably know or suspect who the leakers are.

After every leak, have trusted investigators go to the departments where the leak probably came from, subject a random 100 people there to a meticulous audit of their expense accounts, and prosecute for any irregularities found.

The leaks will stop. One way or another, they will stop.

Yes, he's acting like the people that slandered his name will now respect his integrity.

Simply naive.

“Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated, “we are having a lot of leaks today in Washington, that I do believe are troubling.”

This is what I wrote yesterday in response to this:

I don’t want ANYONE working for me that Obama nominated, or appointed, or anyone that they hired. I don’t care who they are. I don’t care what their record is. I don’t care what their job is. Get rid of them NOW!!!!!!!!! How hard is this!!!!!

Sounds more wimpish than I would like. Rudy would have stood up and said, “FU, no way!” Then, instead of wringing his hands about leaks, he’d have announced indictments of leakers and indictments of the terrorists at Berkeley.
