Not sure about WSJ posting. In a nutshell they are sayin Sessions used CAMPAIGN FUNDS for expenses on Cleveland trip when he met Russian envoy.

This is such a nothing story. He would have been stupid not to use political funds to attend the Republican National Convention. What elected official wouldn’t? This is what the left and apparently the establishment GOP do: build up non-stories as if they are somehow actually relevant so that the low-information and/or hyper-partisan types will believe there is a big scandal where none exists.
I only read it because it is passed along to me, but I am getting tired of it. They are the elites who look down on those of us in flyover country.

Absolutely. May I be wrong, but I can see where this is going. Republicans always bend and Democrats always get their way.
Before the election, they may have wanted to weaken Hillary, but now that Trump won, it is in Russia’s interest to weaken him and to encourage divisions...don’t be surprised if the Dems private position on Russia is very different than the public one, based on mutual goals...

A foreign service officer may or may not be something else, disguised as an FSO, but Ambassadors are actual representatives of that country's leader. They are not spies, and they do not conduct espionage. If they were and did, the hosting country would shut down the embassy and throw them all out and there would be NO diplomatic relations at all. In fact, they might go so far as to remove diplomatic immunity to the whole lot of them, and imprison, try and execute them. It IS a very big deal.
Surprisingly it is a very large country, and not at all like Southern California, the land of fruits and nuts— California is a mental state. So, no your perspective, though understandably warped with the eternal pessimism brought on by being trapped living amongst central casting whack jobs and their political dead end 60’s pals (and Gov. moonbeam one can’t forget- acid redux), it in no way represents the true base of this country. You also have zero knowledge about Mr. Sessions, who is a brilliant prosecutor and former Atty General of Alabama (a state with complex legal issues he handled extremely well). Rudy was out of the running almost immediately and never would have made it through nomination, thanks to his track record amongst the libs.

There used to be only 3 networks on TV.. they had 15 minutes of news at 6 pm and again at 10 pm.. then they signed off the air. Today, they have way too much time to talk and talk and talk... just shut up.. it’s just gossip and it’s hurting good people!!
Why would they want to? Their whole plan was to disrupt, delegitimize, and cause chaos in the US. The media and democrats are the useful idiots helping them out.
