The Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday reversed an Obama-era plan to collect massive amounts of data from oil-and-gas companies information that ultimately wouldve been used as the basis for new federal regulations on methane.
EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt said the requests made by the prior administration constituted unnecessary burdens on the energy industry. His action also seems to signal that the EPA will not pursue any new methane regulations anytime in the foreseeable future.

But not Natural Gas?
It was a stroke of genius, President Trump nominating a form AG who has sued this rogue agency under Zero more than just about anyone.
This is a BIG win.
Sweet! Now get rid of the EPA employees that would have been “needed” for that potential boondoggle.
I believe it’s one in the same.
Pretty soon we’ll hear that Mr Pruitt met with the Russians.
Counting down to the EPA expiration date...
Wow, gone are the days of SHUTTING DOWN AMERICA ON BEHALF OF ODUNGA’S GLOBALIST HANDLERS.
Massive amounts of information meant massive expenses. Higher and higher costs for American fuel, and less and less of it—the Obama plan.
Get Rid Of The Corrupt EPA Once And For All!!
Between this & the proposed budget/personnel budget cuts just sent to the EPA, the Waaahmbulances must be lined up 3 deep in front of EPA buildings.

Overall budget cut 25% & staffing by 20% ....would cut deeply into programs like climate protection, environmental justice and enforcement.
What the heck is “environmental justice” ? Per the EPA website, it is:
Environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
EPA has this goal for all communities and persons across this nation. It will be achieved when everyone enjoys:
the same degree of protection from environmental and health hazards, and
equal access to the decision-making process to have a healthy environment in which to live, learn, and work.
“Overall budget cut 25% & staffing by 20% ...”
Hopefully that’s just a start and that’ll be all that’s left of them in 3 or 4 years, preferably less.
Methane is the main component of natural gas.
More good news. More winning.
Methane sounds so industrial and dirty. Natural Gas sounds sustaneable and clean.
Uh oh! We will soon be hearing how the head of EPA was talking with Russians.
Uh oh! We will soon be hearing how the head of EPA was seen talking with Russians.
But here I am wondering, isn’t there energy to be gained by collecting and burning natural gas?
