There was an American Captain at Trafalga? Hmmm, interesting since I thought there were hard feelings between the British and the Americans at that time.

LOL, during that time frame, he may have been impressed!

(don’t know if they did that to officers, but many who were impressed by the Royal Navy just did what they could as best they could, just to get by)
