It seems like you wouldn’t be quite as isolated in Mesa as in St. George. It’s a bigger place.
Mesa has a lot of my nieces and nephews in the immediate areas and in Tucson, which is 120 miles south. Like from here to St George.
But if it comes together, I’ll go to Mesa. I’m funny that way.
Just checked my email for the second time today and I saw what you did. Thanks!
I went to the office to get an application for SNAP, and there is a notice on the door that says an appointment needs to be made just to get the forms. Bunk that. I just drove to the welfare office and got the forms from them. Then I went to Wally’s and got some throat spray and cough drops.
When I got home, I saw that my computer had collapsed. Only the security screen was up. Dang I hate that.
I don’t know what this is that has me in its grip, but I got the vaporizer down from the closet shelf, “just in case.” I feel really ugly at the moment and will head for bed in just a few minutes.
It’s where I need to be, at least until I find out how nasty this thing will be.
Later, all...
I hope it doesn’t develop into anything really bad, like “the monia.”
I hope you feel better soon with no ‘monia.
If you don’t feel better maybe some pink drink will keep you from caring?
I don’t drink myself so I don’t know if it helps with the sicks.
Pink drink and pretzels would make me feel much better. However, it’s still a long way to Easter, not to mention until I’m officially thin.
LOL! ,No not Russian, British.
To be more accurate, Great Western Railway.
:)
There was only one item at the museum you’ve not seen before.
I’ll post it shortly. :)
I still don’t know what this is, but yesterday, I was very, very thankful for the nebulizer. It helped to loosen up the congestion, so I’ve coughed a lot. Thankfully, not much during the night. Of course, I wasn’t stingy with the Mentholatum, either!
When I do cough, I sound like I still have Pertussis. (That cough never left me, even though I survived the disease.) I haven’t tried talking, not even to myself, so I don’t know if my throat has been affected much beyond being sore.
No pink drink for me. I don’t like it when I’m sick. In fact the only thing I even halfway want is a hot toddy, and I don’t have any toddy, so I won’t have that. But I’m up and I survived!
My goodness. What an oddly marked Kitteh. But so full of squee! I want to hug dat floof!
Yes, she is funny-looking. Jake was out all night, and he’s found a bed somewhere for the day.
Glad you’re feeling tolerable for now. I’m cold!
My FRiend in Colombia is texting pictures to me. It’s very scenic.
I’ve had a shower and a breathing treatment, and I put on some warm clothes because I hate being cold.
I won’t use any more Mentholatum until I get ready for bed, but for now, I don’t think I need it, what with the nebulizer.
Zeke just sent me a text, saying the trial he had jury duty for (11 weeks) was over. I’m waiting to see what it was about.
I don’t think I would want to go to Columbia, just because of the humidity. I don’t do well when it’s that humid.
It wasn't a perfect definition of van der Walls, but it was very close.
British? Great Western Railway?
I love FreeRepublic because it attacks people like you. Thanks for sharing.
Colombia has many different climate zones. I’m sure it’s extremely humid on the Gulf Coast at Cartagena, which is where my friend is going tomorrow.
