It reallly wouldn't have been any better. Except that if Gore or Kerry had won it would have propelled most Americans toward a distaste for liberalism/Democrats that much sooner. What is happening now, could have already transpired. There might never have been eight years of Obama.

I was in the federal government during the Bush years. I was privy to info and stuff most Americans aren’t. I was aware of an intentional unofficial federal government m.o. to allow massive illegal immigration. I use to see reports and hear anecdotal stories from colleagues and think, “WTF?? This has to be orchestrated among the higher ups.” I would learn about movements of large numbers of illegals through airports being assisted by organized do-gooder groups apparently with the blessing, if not cooperation, of the federal government. ICE wouldn’t even cooperate with local law enforcement (now it’s the other way around) to pick up foreign nationals with outstanding felony warrants.

It was also under Bush where the Deep State became especially powerful. No-oversight powerful. Things like Posse Comitatus were thrown out the window for “national security concerns”. Spying within our borders by the CIA and other agencies (NSA, NGA, et al.) became acceptable for national security and there was no opposing force. The FISA courts pretty much allowed free rein and even gave a legal imprimatur to any Deep State operation.

I could could go on and on but I think you catch my drift. Bush created a monster that only grew bigger and more powerful and more destructive under Obama. And it is prepared and willing to drain the ocean of America to save the swamp archipelagos of elite and globalist interests. Three Days of the Condor on bath salts.

I think we have no idea to the extent Washington is corrupt. There probably aren’t more than a handful of honest politicians in the bunch. Is Jeff Sessions one of the good guys? I sure hope so. He’s been there twenty years. He HAS to know all about the corruption. God help us if he’s corrupt, as well.

The prayer list just gets longer every day, doesn’t it? Pray for Sen. Rand Paul, that he is protected as he calls out specific lawmakers, for corruption. Cover him and other patriots like him, who are willing to go against some of the most powerful people in Washington, with prayer.

Remember when Daniel prayed that great prayer of repentance for his nation (Daniel, ch. 9), what the Angel Gabriel told him: Daniel 9:23 “At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.” And Daniel 10:12-13: “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia”. They were fighting the princes of darkness, who are assigned to certain areas, and it is no different today. Specific demon spirits are assigned to specific areas of the world. But, praise God!
