George W. Bush on Trump and Russia: 'We all need answers'
Associated Press ^ | Feb 27, 2017 9:47 AM EST

Former President George W. Bush said Monday “we all need answers” on the extent of contact between President Donald Trump’s team and the Russian government, and didn’t rule out the idea that a special prosecutor could be necessary to lead an investigation.

The Republican also defended the media’s role in keeping world leaders in check, noting that “power can be addictive,” and warned against immigration policies that could alienate Muslims.

“I am for an immigration policy that’s welcoming and upholds the law,” Bush told NBC’s “Today” show.

Bush’s comments came after a prominent Republican in Congress, Rep. Darrell Issa of California, called for a special prosecutor to investigate whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and was in touch with Trump’s top advisers during the campaign. …

Maybe his Dad should have checked into Ted Kennedy’s dalliances with the KGB.

How could Dubya's best pal Pooty Poot be a malign influence?

But then, this is the moron who talked about Islam being a religion of peace and castigated the Tea Party.

And remember what he said about not commenting on Obama:

“He deserves my silence,” Bush said of the newly elected Barack Obama. “I think it is essential that he be helped in office.”

Daddy Bush brought us Bill Clinton and George W brought us Odunga. I hope they crawl back under their pile of Saudi money and disappear. Let president Trump fight for the American people. Trump is putting them all to shame. He's showing the American people what a loyal leader looks like.

I voted for him twice.

I prayed for him every day.

I defended him when he would not defend himself.

I received hate mail and threats for supporting him publicly.

Needless to say, I am PROFOUNDLY disappointed by this person’s perfidy and hypocrisy.

He has also caused me to wonder about my own powers of observation and good judgement.

He has hurt me, and America, deeply.

The only reason I can think W would go on attack is our military and intel are turning against the Bushes. Maybe his invites of generals out to Kennebunkport are being turned down.

I think you have to be from Texas to still respect this NWO stooge. Sure, he was marginally better than Gore or Kerry would have been. But when one considers how his stupidity sent people running to vote for Obama, Jorge was a net negative for America.

Kept his mouth shut when Obama and his IRS went after the Tea Party, didn’t he? No call for a Special Prosecutor. Instead, he waits all of five weeks and based on no substantive information, demands one. To be charitable would be to chalk it up to Bush’s inherent stupidity but a layer of snide Bush family venality underlies it. You can see it in the election returns: Trump runs way behind other Rep presidential candidates in the country club suburbs where the Bush supporters live and who might have been subject to persuasion by him and his father - look at the Chicago ring suburbs, Gwinnett and Cobb counties in Atlanta, the Philadelphia suburbs, including Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties, all of which Trump lost by wide margins which were traditionally Republican bedroom counties. Roger Stone has a book coming out on the election and he has said he has info. on the direct backchannel support the Bushes gave to the Clinton campaign. They didn’t stay neutral in the election and they’re not neutral now.

W laid it all on the table with ‘Islam is a religion of Peace’ and ‘no vigilante justice at the border’, we were warned, but the thought of Kerry treating terrorism as ‘law enforcement issues’ was just too terrifying.

Dubya the Duplicitous in 2011:
President Bush broke his self-imposed silence in January 2011, in a speech at Southern Methodist University. The only problem was, he wasn’t attacking Obama, but conservatives. Addressing the immigration debate, he said: “(I)f you study history, there are some ‘isms’ that occasionally pop up … One is isolationism and its evil twin protectionism and its evil triplet nativism.”

These were potent insults directed at millions of hard-working patriots who helped elect him twice to the White House. Elites in both parties gleefully gobbled it up.

“....so the have demonically possessed the Republican Party instead.”

We were so very close to having a new party back when Trump was being pressured to sign that damn “loyalty pledge” thingy. I still think if he had just said “screw you” to them, he still could’ve won AND started a new party in the process. Perhaps if republicans continue to behave as libtards Trump still could organize a new party excluding all proven Uniparty members. If they decide to not go along with his agenda, there’d be nothing to lose.

I think that was more a way to tell the Iranians that we were not going to stay to run Iraq and that all they had to do was wait their turn and exercise influence via their Shia allies in Iraq.

That it certainly was.

It also appears to have been the cornerstone upon which the JCPOA rests.

Yes, the ‘evil’ triplets are the death knell to globalists.

Hope he’s not cooking up another crash, I wouldn’t put it past his family.

His silence during Obama’s rule was attributed to class not agreement. Now we know he hass no class.
