I guess I was thinking of the most ideal country setting for me, which would have been my grandparents’ home and it was 10+ miles from a town. I know there would have been shopping and movies, etc, accessable but one would have to make more of an effort. I used to like to go shopping every day. LOL! Yep...shopaholic. Now I order most of the clothes I wear online. And since I retired, I don’t need so much.
But, we’re in this house, it’s paid for and hubby won’t move. So here I’ll be. it’s ok. It’s not so bad. And we have WIFI! ;)
Yeah, we aren’t quite as far in the boonies as your grandparents’ farm was. The little town we live just outside of doesn’t have much though. The town I do all my shopping in, and where we go on Friday nights when we go out, is about 10 miles away. But heck, I drove that far to work sometimes when I lived in Raleigh and I worked in Raleigh. LOL! No big deal.
I’ve never been a shop-o-holic, though. HATE shopping with a passion and Hubby appreciates that. hee! Don’t need much any way. Jeans and tees for the farm and a few nice things for going out. Got that so it’s good.
And there’s WIFI. :-)
