... their buddies in the Chamber of Commerce want to off load all health care costs from their books to the Federal government. I don't know why anyone would think this is a bad thing. Eliminating the link between employment and health insurance would be an enormous incentive for companies to hire more workers. There's absolutely no reason -- other than an idiotic provision of the U.S. tax code that allows people to get health insurance from their employers tax-free -- that employers should be in the business of buying insurance for their workers.

If he cant effectively lead congress then he should be replaced by someone who will implement what the voters want. What exactly do the voters want, in this case?
I suspect the GOP leadership might have a better idea of this than we give them credit for.

How is he going to be replaced??? Is Trump to remove him and install another? He is there because he is what all the Republicans want. Trump is going to have to some way cut off the congressmen's outside income, the legal bribery, and he is going to have to make the congressmen fear for their own freedom if he means to implement any of his program through Congress beyond the first couple of months and he will never get rid of obamacare
through Congress though it may get renamed and trimmed a bit and made even more expensive. The Chamber of Commerce wants Single Payer and the Republicans are working out how to get Single Payer while calling it something else. The Republicans will resist everything Trump worse than the Democrats did to Reagan. Trump is totally alone as President with a totally opposed Congress.
His force of character is such and the powers of the Executive now are such that he can do what needs to be done but whether he will do that is another question.

But what we have going on is collusion between the GOP elite and the Democrats to move to a British style socialist NHS system making people beholden to the government for their very survival. That my friend means basically your a slave but your masters will be exempt and have their separate platinum health coverage that you’ll never be able to get codified into the law.

Trump is fighting at least a three front war, Dems, Pubbies and the press.”
Five, if you throw in Hollywood and colleges and universities.
