Let’s give credit where credit is due. Identity politics started with Karl Marx. The plan was to put people into groups so they could be pit against each other. This divide and conquer strategy enabled the state to grab control.
No surprise that the left would take it on as their own.
Karl economic identity: the proletariat, bourgeoisie, etal.
Prior to Karl identity politics was about tribe/nationalism and RELIGION.
Economic identity advocates were losing. So they expanded to include racial, gender and every Balkanized identity they could think of.
The RESCUE TRIANGLE merges Marx, Freud and others in this identity politics, especially for the Alinsky disciples like Clinton and Obama. In the RESCUE TRIANGLE the Opressors Opress the Victim. The Rescuer Rescues the Victim. Alinsky changed the Freudian version so the Rescuer becomes an ORGANIZER. The Organizer organizes the Victims to switch places and either become Rescuers themselves, or to become Opressors who Opress the former Opressors and turn them into Victims.
From the Rescue Triangle perspective the Trump people rebelled against the GAME. Those people in PA did not want to be Rescuers (organizers or social workers). They did not want to be victims. They did not want to be Opressors.
They did not want to be in the Alinsky game at all.
When Trump confronts the media, he is saying that he does not want to be a player in their 3 handed game.
Many game players are angry that their game has been disrupted.
The purpose of identity politics is to define the players in the game. In baseball, you need to define who plays each of the 9 positions. In Rescuer, you have only 3 basic positions. But as with baseball, you need to know who is playing which position in order to play the game.
“So why aren’t they protesting Hillary.... Bill Clinton is an infamous abuser of women and Hillary was his enabler." ... the answer is obvious. Hillary told women they were victims. Donald Trump didn’t......

At which point, the cameras panned out to hundreds of the richest, most privileged people in American society in their $10,000 tuxedos and $20,000 designer dresses, loudly cheering this acknowledgement of their 'dreadful victimhood.'
Just goes to show..... liberals are never more jubilant than when they're in the "consecrated state of victimhood."
Ask their shrinks...... the only time liberals feel really good about themselves....is when they become "victims."
Lordy, one can just imagine the celebrations after Streep informed plain old Americans like us that THEY....the Hollyood luminaries.... are the real victims.
I can almost hear the champagne corks pop at their victimhood celebrations.....held in their 20 million dollar beach cottages in Malibu.
