As many ways as you can put vowels with MHMD. Arabic script uses no vowels D can also be T. Ones I know are Mahomet, Mehmet, Mahmoud, Muhamad, Mahamdu. It depends on the language and the accent. Only the Turkish spellings are “correct” because their own variations of the name are spelled in their own Latin alphabet.
