There is an inevitable campaign to manage public perception on CNN. It is predictable since CNN is completely sold out to any lie their masters dictate to them ... and sadly, is rumbling around even at FreeRepublic.com.
That is very funny. It looks shamefully fake. Especially when he suddenly puts the gas mask on.

The ongoing false accusation of Russian hacking did not come from CNN, they just piled on. The thing is, the Russian hacking thing went on for so long, the avergage liberal drone can never be unconvinced of this accusation.
You are pointing out the bias behavior, not their bold face lies.
Just so you know, I not trying in any manner to improve the perception of CNN. They lied and deceived for so long, that it gets hard to remember all of the things that they gotten away with. as you can see from this thread people pulled out some good nuggets to remind everyone what a POS company CNN is.

I agree. However, I think the russian hacking story would be a difficult example to use, when demonstrating to a blind brainwashed liberal what a dishonest company CNN is. They have too short of attention span to listen to the background of that story.
For the past 2+ years ALL the “Mainstream” Networks lied about Police beating Black Men. And pounded it relentlessly. If they didn’t cause the riots, they certainly contributed heavily.
Yes....FBI employee and husband of VA senate (?) candidate ....paid lots of money by McAuliffe campaign (presumably for cooperation in the Comey/Lynch kerkuffle).....the rest of the slimey details escape me.

You seem like a smart person and smart people realize that trying to reason with someone like a liberal is fruitless. Liberals and conservatives have different worldviews on such basic issues like "is man basically good" For most conservatives the answer is no, only God is good. For liberals the answer is yes, and the environment (guns, rules, laws etc) can make man good or make him bad.
In addition when attempting to reason with someone you are using logic (reason=logic). Logic is not how most liberals forms their views. Liberals move from feelings and base each opinion on feelings. Even liberals don't use logic with other liberals as arguments, they use logical fallacies and feelings mostly, hence attempting to reason with them is a fools errand.
In short, you as a conservative are not going to reason with a liberal. You don't have enough common worldview or language in order to accomplish that task.
So applying this to your hypothetical, why try to reason? Even if you demonstrate several outright lies you will not accomplish anything of importance. The liberal will still feel that CNN is good and Trump is bad.
It really seemed like they were purposely trying to start riots. Look what they did in Ferguson and Baltimore.
You know when the Trevon Martin story broke out, they showed that picture of what looked to be a 10 year old. for a moment, I actually thought that was who was shot; a 10 year old. That is until I visited the Free republic and saw the real picture. It would have never occurred to me, that anyone would publish a picture of a 10 years as opposed to the 17 year old gangbanger this 10 year old apparently grew up to become. Why would they do this?
you are 100% correct. I have seen it over and over again. If you present unbiased facts to a liberal to prove them wrong, they ignore them. Even since I posted this thread, I sent some of the examples to a liberal who asked the same question, and they were ignored.
Our world views are too far apart, even to discuss matters such as what is wrong with CNN is a complete waste of our time.
They just use their feelings to decide what is right. They forget that feelings are easily manipulated. I try to see the World from a Biblical perspective, which requires you to use facts and an unchanging moral code.
Everything. Not a single story they have reported has been the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
Let’s take the ban on the 7 nations. They were banned because they refused to cooperate with background checks. CNN reported it as a ban on muslims when the ban was against all citizens, muslims, Christians, and everyone else.
