One need only monitor the star system for those who are promoted as lead performers and as icons of the day: petite, big-eyed females who look much younger than they are and whose figures disappear as they take up smoking to drop weight and indulge in the still-extant blizzard of cocaine. Male actors are equally adolescent-looking...big-eyed (again), peach-fuzzed, voices with a higher pitch (Elijah Wood, Tobey Maguire) etc.
The point is that this sexual fascination with children is both a sickness and an obsession in many circles, even those considered otherwise respectable.
As usual, the media will not report truthfully on those they admire, with whom they are politically aligned, or to which they devote ‘soft news’ pieces (film hype etc.).
It isn’t just Democrats. If Trump keeps this up, the blow back will be harsh
