No way Turkey should be part of NATO. They’ve become far to extremist.
They’re stirring up a lot of the problems in Syria. If we are forced to go into Syria, much of it will be because of the problems Turkey has caused.
The USA and Russia should put the hurt on Turkey by cutting them off. We need for Turkey’s government to fail so they will be forced to return to a more secular government controlled by the military.
A close friend of mine in Syria sent me this today.
“Can NATO survive Turkey?”

It’s a question that has been asked for a long time. It has become more acute since Erdogan came to power.
He believes he has been chosen by ‘his god’ to be king over a great empire. Restore the Ottoman empire. He is terminally arrogant. That is very dangerous as a consequence.
How does this work, with NATO including Turkey? Isn't shutting off that dam a crime against humanity? Isn't it in effect an act of war? How does NATO handle it without getting embroiled on the wrong side in the Mideast mess the US created?
