It does. Comey needed to be gone, but firing at that time was not an option. Better if Comey had resigned on his own.

Yes but he is a real weasel. I think that the tweeting is trying to show him the door because he is serving a 5 year term and I believe Trump is trying to show that the FBI is out of control. I’m not sure that is the way to do it but maybe it’s Trumps way of publicly indicating that there is a real problem there.
