The ATF has been a bunch of pikers at least since the 70’s.
A good school buddy of mine got caught with some dynamite he bought from someone when he was 16. Aside from scaring some fish and making some big holes in the ground, he was just having fun.
The agents and some fed prosecutor put him in front of a decent federal judge and the judge told them to put the kid on a local judge and never be seen in front of him again.
The good local judge told the kid to either join the military or get a job in demolition. He’s now making 6 figures sapping things that really need it.
The ATF can KMA.
And among the most inept. A bunch of Keystone Cops.
Because they all get a share.
But, they do love them flashbangers and dynamic entries at O dark thirty.
