‘Very unjudicial.’
Ginsburg is in a bad situation. She should have retired while Obama was still POTUS, and allowed him to name her successor. She hung on, gambling on a Hillary win. Now Ginsburg has to grit her teeth and hope she can make it through another four years, AND count on Trump losing in 2020. The odds are against her.
It would have been entertaining if she resigned in Obama's final year and the Senate sat on two Obama nominees. (It would have also spared us a bunch of 4-4 rulings where the ties went to the loser activists on the lower courts.)
