Tomorrow the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will have to choose the direction of the Democratic Party, as well as its likely composition. It will be among the most important choices the DNC has ever had to make. There has been a powerful push from the hard-left of the Democratic Party, led by senator Bernie Sanders, to elect Keith Ellison chairman. If he is elected, I will quit the party after 60 years of loyal association and voting. I will become an independent, continuing to vote for the best candidates, most of whom, I assume, will still be Democrats. But I will not contribute to the DNC or support it as an institution. My loyalty to my country and my principles and my heritage exceeds any loyalty to my party. I will urge other like-minded people – centrist liberals – to follow my lead and quit the Democratic Party if Ellison is elected Chairman. We will not be leaving the Democratic Party we have long supported. The Democratic Party will be leaving us!

honestly, there’s no proof any of the people associated with Epstein did any wrong; it is tho useful to attack people. But now that Crooked H is gone and DJT is Prez, we should welcome newcomers to the party; Trump didn’t win the election by anywhere near as much as Bush I in 1988, Reagan, Nixon in 1972, and given how races can be close, we need converts. After all, didn’t Trump once defend Bill Clinton in the 1990s?

I’m old enough to remember when there were principled, conservative, pro-America democrats.
It wasn’t all that long ago that Joe Lieberman (who wasn’t the least bit conservative) was forced out of the dems by the leftists.
I REALLY hope Ellison wins, but I’m pretty sure that the DNC chair is rigged every bit as much as the dem primary was, with Barky’s pick, Perez.
I’d just like to see my family’s reaction to Ellison as the DNC chair.

Dershowitz is all over the map. He is inconsistent. I can’t ever tell what he will stick with. I can’t tell what his principles are.
The reputation of who Epstein is, and what activities occur on his island, and for what purpose, are widely known. One trip there would be fine if one did not know what goes on there. At minimum, repeated trips indicate awareness.
Pre-election and presidency, DJT said and did many things to flourish in his business career. Yes, we need new converts. We need so many areas of the election process to be repaired and gutted of corruption. I think cleaning up the fraud is priority #1.
Perez was elected Chairman and Ellison was unanimously elected Vice Chairman.
I wonder what Dershowitz will do now.
Leave anyways Al and let us live in peace. You’re a brilliant attorney but you voted for Obama twice.
