Yes. My suggestion is, unless we post a vanity, avail ourselves when we can of a source who has already deconstructed the lie and has published a truthful headline and article.
Otherwise IMO the constant stream of lying headlines and lying articles can have the opposite of the desired effect - demoralizing if you didn’t know it was a lie. Often there’s nothing in the headline or first few lines showing to tell you it’s a lie and I’m guessing most don’t necessarily have time to drill down into all these articles.
If nothing is already published that contradicts the lie, then I guess we could go ahead and post the lying headline and article but I personally would try never to do that. I believe that generally a lie is neutralized by speaking the truth about the lie. Lies aren’t defeated by repeating the lie. Lies are defeated by repeating the truth.

Well, Jim I like FR and I hope you give what I’m saying some thought. What I’m saying allows FR to continue as it is. It would not be a requirement or some kind of formal change or more monitoring or cost. It would simply be you and FR asking FReepers to consider an alternative approach to the somewhat mindless and rote posting of publications from certain questionable outlets (Trump’s list would be a good start).
Nothing would have to change but such a request from you and FR could greatly improve the quality of the posting stream on FR IMO while still covering every news story and IMO better facilitate FR’s purpose of exposing and reporting media lies.
About time the WH woke up, the plan should be to talk to these scumbags as little as possible.
Taking questions from ENEMEDIA, having a daily press briefing and giving these degenerate assholes a forum to trash Trump on a daily basis is idiotic.
