Be careful here. She may have stripped language that was critical of the accords but left the rescinding language in.
Obama had no business signing an agreement which amounted to a trade treaty (carbon credits) or was a prelude to one. President Trump can rescind the agreement because it was not in accordance with US Law. It is not necessary to criticize it, it is only necessary to draw attention to its unlawful issuance.
If the story is true, Ivanka and Jared may be helping the President to sidestep unnecessary flare-ups that distract from other issues near and dear to the Kushner’s such as Israel.
