Starbucks Opposed Trump by Hiring 10,000 'Refugees'... Now It's Paying a Big Price For It

President Donald J. Trump in January signed an executive order to freeze immigration from 7 countries (identified by the Obama Administration itself in a 2011 order) from which ISIS fighters have snuck into Western countries disguised as “refugees.”

The left-wing immediately announced its violent opposition to Trump's reasonable, completely legal plan, launching a legal challenge, andf temporarily snarling the order in the courts.

But some companies publicly went against the new President, expressing their support for Muslim "refugees."

The most prominent company to do this was coffee giant Starbucks, whose CEO Howard Schultz, a strong Hillary Clinton supporter, announced plans to hire 10,000 refugees worldwide in response to Trump's order.

Well one month later, Starbucks may well regret that announcement. It's investors certainly will, according to a stunning new report.

That's because, according to the Google/YouGov Brand Index, consumer sentiment on Starbucks has plummeted by a stunning 67% since they announced their opposition to Trump.

According to YouGov this is a very large drop "normally associated with a scandal or health scare" such as the Chipotle Mexican Grill eColi scare a few years back.

“Thought the store had a creepy atmosphere”

And them some.

Lefties tend to be that way.

I know I want my rideculously overpriced burnt coffee prepared by someone who doesn’t use toilet paper.

Just the *idea* of hiring 10,000 refugees contributed to the drop in sentiment.

I honestly don’t know. She is so cute in that graphic though...

The sentiment just drips from it.

Even without their insane political stances, Starbucks’ products just aren’t worth those inflated prices. The hours-old stuff at the office is no worse than SBUX’ “coffee of the day.” Dunkin’ Donuts kicks SBUX’ ass in product quality, hands down.

The handful of times that I’ve visited Starbucks have been when I’m visiting some friends in Cleveland. They go all the time. On my next visit, I’ll try to ween them of that bad habit.

What, does Starbucks have a death wish for the company? First, they have their barristers scribble some race relation remark, unwanted, on the cups. Now they announce they’re bringing thousands of (equally unwanted) refugees into the country. What’s next, Starbucks? Gonna import some ebola infected folks, too?

The problem with these liberal-owned stores — you can’t just buy a product or service. You have to buy into their politics. Love me, love my dog.

Sorry, but I just don’t love your dog. Good-bye.

My husband used to drink that swill. Now he has switched to other brands. No more Starbucks in this household.

Starbucks stock is down eight cents in the last month.

They are not taking much of a hit.

We ditched them years ago when the were putting left wing slogans on their products. Yuck. Lefties don’t shower. I don’t want them oozing into my coffee.

Micky D’s coffee has always been better, anyway. I wouldn’t step foot in starbucks if you paid me. I give any starbuck card gifts back to the giver or give the card away to someone on the street who looks like they need a cup of coffee.
