Marine Le Pen, French Presidential candidate for the far-right political party Front National, had a meeting with Lebanon’s Grand Mufti, a top Muslim cleric.
Upon arriving, an aide for the cleric demanded she wear a headscarf before entering his office.
Big mistake.
“You can pass on my respects to the grand mufti,” Le Pen said, “but I will not cover myself up.”

The purpose of the headscarf is to declare that a woman is a believer and should not be molested by Muslim men. Those unveiled women are declaring themselves either slaves or unbelievers to Muslim men and can be molested at will.
A non-Muslim woman wearing a headscarf is abasing herself, admitting she accepts this categorization of women and wants protection. It is anti-thetical to western beliefs that women are inviolate regardless of who they are.

I found that hard to believe, so I looked it up. By golly, you’re right! PaddyPower was so confident of a Hillary win that they paid off the Hillary bettors in October of 2016.
