Crowds of people gathered on Wednesday night to protest against an off-duty cop who was caught on camera pulling and firing his gun as he scuffled with a 13-year-old outside his home in Anaheim, California.
The protests were sparked after a video that was filmed on Tuesday afternoon emerged showing the confrontation between the off-duty LAPD cop and a large gang of teens who he had apparently accused of walking on his lawn.
The confrontation ends with the officer pulling his gun out and firing a shot that did not hit anyone as the teens flee.
Before that, the officer was filmed struggling with one teen who he accused of threatening to shoot him, then scuffling with the entire group of teens outside his home. ok

Thats what the guy in Los Feliz thought last year when he was trying to Flag Down a Cop after calling 911 when he was ROBBED AND MUGGED, The COP SHOT AND KILLED THE VICTIM!
Anaheim, surrounding Disneyland, has become a primarily Hispanic area in the past 10-20 Years.
The same is true for Garden Grove, Santa Ana and much of North Orange County.
I’m surprised that the Cop still lives in the area.

the cop it seemed was trying to arrest the one kid. He resistend then the Hispanic mob attacked him, so He pulled the gun in self defense, and, it appears, fired it accidentally.
I see nothing wrong here on his part. The kid who resisted and the ones who took a swing at him should be id’ed and arrested.
But of course the cop is white and the perps minorities so who knows what will happen. They’ll probably fire him or jail him. that’s how things work these days.

Pretty much that's the bottom line.
California Law gives Police Officers a few more powers than are afforded private citizens, among them is the power to physically arrest juveniles and persons committing assault (verbal threat of violence), so the cop was not out of line in the original physical handling of the kid.
Who would have thought that when California started dissolving into a lawless cesspool,it would become unsafe for everyone.
A pack of young feral humans patrols its territory to make a show of dominance. When a civilized human confronts them over the bullying, he is assaulted multiple times. Only when he pulls out a force equalizing weapon do they scatter.
The police need to be arresting the hoodlums for trying to domineer and bully the civilized society that supports them.
If one or more of them laid a hand on him, that’s assault, and he was within his rights to use whatever force necessary to protect himself.

From what I gathered by looking at several tapes, the officer shouted at a girl with the group to get off the lawn and called her a cunt (the word used according to the teenager he was holding and another teenager in the group).
The teen he was holding answered back “to respect the lady or he would sue him” The cop claims the kid said shoot not sued.
So we have a war of words with the cop claiming he never used the word cunt and the kid claiming he never used the word shoot.
The cop is much larger then the 13 year old. He is also armed. I don’t think he had the right to detain the kid in the manner he did. I think he could have handled it better in the beginning so he didn’t have to pull the gun in the end.
If you want people to stop cutting across your lawn, put up a fence. A corner lot without a fence is naturally going to get used as a shortcut, and you can’t sit there watching it 24 hours a day to confront everyone about it. Just put up the damn fence.
Can they all lose?
Trespassing thugs deserve no sympathy.
But a cop firing a warning shot, or having such poor trigger discipline that he fired accidentally, deserves no sympathy either. You only shoot when you intend to kill, full stop.
How did this LA cop not get the local boys in blue to roll with their warrant / injunction list and put the scare into them?
Why didn’t this guy do what anyone does in greater LA whose gated yard isn’t quite enough deterrent — get a nice big German Shepherd?
Here’s the difference, I DON’T BELIEVE IN SPECIAL RIGHTS for anyone. Obviously you do. Because I GUARANTEE you a Regular Citizen without the Magic Blue Costume would ABSOLUTELY BE ARRESTED AND PROSECUTED anywhere in LA County. I have lived here All my life and am in my mid 50’s.
