Fox News Channel's Alan Colmes has passed away at age 66 after a brief illness.
Colmes leaves behind his wife, Jocelyn Crowley, who issued the following statement:

People like him give us people like Obama. He should have stuck to comedy.
Watched Alan Colmes for years. I have no respect for an intentional lying individual like Colmes whose efforts to use the news station’s podium for the chance to further a cause of criminals like B Clinton and others attached to the legitimate terrorist group called the democrats. He is one of a number of individuals that are a blight to our society. Glad he’s gone and can’t do any more harm.
He’ll have to answer to God for his actions.

That was by design. If Colmes held a liberal show on MSNBC and Hannity was his conservative sidekick, Holmes would destroy him every night too. It is simply entertainment.

Very conservative friend was a frequent caller to Colmes’talk radio show, became friends and attended his wedding. Says he was a really nice guy. Rest in peace.
Gosh. What a sad surprise. He was one the oneliberal on TV that I could tolerate. Seemed like a really nice guy.
Sorry you lost a friend. As I said on another thread, Colmes may have been a liberal, but he was nice liberal unlike most. I liked his smile and he always seemed genuine, even if wrong in his positions. Hope he Rests in Peace and my condolences to his family.

It’s sad that he died, but I don’t agree that he was a reasonable liberal. Juan Williams was also less radical before Obama became president.
