Ironic when someone responds to perceived incivility.....with incivility of his own.

That’s cute. I didn’t realize I was going to be conversing with an individual that has to lower themselves to foul language to try to prove a point. And you question my IQ?

As for the effort to do what’s right, I can surmise by the way you take the guise of ignoring the facts like the failing conservative regimes of the past that you are consistent with the do nothings of the past. You just ignore the facts and try to use accepted thinking to determine your stance. I don’t.

As for my attitude, I gained it by being blown up once, shot twice, and training and supervising anti-terror personnel for over 17 years multi-branch. I’ve watched a lot of friends get buried because of the misunderstanding of how to recognize the efforts of those that are trying to advance the destruction of our way of life. And Alan Colmes was a perfect example of one of those that supported openly that effort.

As for our freedoms, if you take a good look at the efforts of the liberals to slip dissidents into the country in ways you have no idea about, along with trying to justify the actions of sharia law, and listen to a media that supports these action with trying to understand them or respect them, you need to consider your freedoms. They will be gone before you know it. Tell that to the forty-nine innocent people killed in the Florida nightclub, Feb. 16, 2002 – Muslim snipers Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad kill Keenya Cook in Tacoma, Washington, Aug., 6, 2003 – The Muslim son of a Saudi millionaire, Mohammed Ali Alayed, 23, slashes the throat of an estranged Jewish friend, Ariel Sellouk, killing and nearly decapitating the man in Houston, Texas, April 15, 2004 – Fearing that his brother had molested his wife and daughter, Muslim man Ismail Peltek killed his wife by bludgeoning her on the head with a hammer and attacked his 22- and 4-year-old daughters with a knife, January 2005 – Somali immigrant Mustafa Mohamed, 30, slashes and injures six people at a retirement home in Alexandria, Virginia, March 3, 2006 – Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, an Iranian-American seeking to “avenge the deaths of Muslims worldwide” and “punish” the U.S. government, intentionally runs down and injures nine people with his sport utility vehicle on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, June 16, 2006 – A 62-year-old Jewish man, Paul Schrum, who had gone to the movies to see “X-Men: The Last Stand” in a heavily Jewish area near Baltimore, Maryland, is shot by Muslim gunman...........There’s a whole lot more, but I won’t waste my time trying to display the issue to a person that’s more concerned about forgiving the person who supported the people that are trying to get this into our country. Especially one that doesn’t understand the issue, or doesn’t try to.

Have a good life, for as long as it is around.

Any indications as to the cause of death? If it was a “brief illness,” my bet would be something like liver or pancreatic cancer. My wife’s aunt died within 30 days of being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is my guess, too. We lost one of my brothers last Christmas eve. He was diagnosed in October.

“Especially one that doesn’t understand the issue, or doesn’t try to.”

I know the issues very well thank you. I figured it was only a matter of time before you used the military card...won’t work with me; I come from a family full of military history...3 wars worth. I guess the one virtue you didn’t get from your service was common decency.

The man passed away today...save your vile arrows for another day.

My Father lived for the Trump Campaign those 18 months till the election. He prayed to God to let him live long enough to vote and put Trump into office. My Father saw all of that. After the election he started downhill and had lost his will to live, he died December 29th at 4:30 in the morning. He was 93, he had a good run and did most everything he wanted to do including seeing Trump elected President. He and I had a lot of fun those 18 months.

I understand how you feel. Terribly sorry for your loss.

I never agreed with Alan Colmes, but I respected him as a person who held a different point of view and who was capable of debating his opposition honestly and respectfully. Rest In Peace Alan, and prayer’s to your lovely wife Jocelyn, your friends and your colleagues.

Some aggressive cancer, perhaps? We had a real good friend, diagnosed with stomach cancer and died 2 weeks later. It happens...

My first ever boss when I was 16 years old (30 years ago), was diagnosed with stomach cancer five years ago. Doctors were able to take care of it. Two years later, she was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. Within a week, she was gone. They always say when the cancer comes back a second time, it's always more aggressive than the first time around.

So true...

...I guess saying stuff like that is OK when I'm alive...

I'm sure you'll speak much better of me when I'm gone. LMAO!!!

I'm glad your Father held on to see History being made. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family.

Of course like my Father, your Father lived through so many things, the Depression, WWII, The Korean War, the Space Age, an endless number of events.

I still remember my Parents amazement when the Apollo Mission landed on the Moon. My Brother and I looked at them and said, it's about time, what took them so long? They didn't think it was ever going to be a possibility. LOL

Simply amazing when you think about it.

My Father was blessed with good health throughout his Life. He survived serving in the South Pacific in WWII, 60 Years of Alcoholism gaining his Sobriety at age 79 and being diagnosed with Lymphoma at age 82 and achieving Remission from the Disease after only one round of Chemotherapy.

He had to have emergency Surgery for a twisted Bowel and came out of it with flying colors. Unfortunately, he suffered a Heart Attack while in Recovery. In a matter of hours he was gone. I figured he would live to be 100.

I am happy that you were able to spend those last 18 Months sharing a common bond with your Father. You probably ended up knowing more about his in that time than you knew your entire Life.

I have found Photos, notes and Letters in my Father's mementos that showed me a side of him and my Late Mother that I never knew. At age 63, it was an eye opener for me.

God Bless my FRiend.

I liked Hannity’s show better when he was going at it with this guy. RIP.

RIP also to Brenda Buttner, I just heard that she died a few days ago from cancer.

You’ve got your ideas, I have mine. Like I said, I didn’t respect him when he was alive, I don’t respect him when dead. I support the ending of the innocents being taken by people he supported through protecting Obama and Clinton. And you seem to have forgotten, or don’t care, how much damage he assisted in and how many innocents were slaughtered.

And you question my common sense? You know nothing. I spent 32 years in it to the highest levels working for DOD, OSI, and DP. When you can fill out that resume you can comment about my experience. Being in a war would have taken a great stride in educating you. Your history of three wars, probably not with you downrange, isn’t worth anything. So unless you were there, and know what I know and what I’ve seen, all you have to go by is liars like Alan Colmes. And that makes you another piece of collateral damage, doesn’t it?

So long,

“So unless you were there, and know what I know and what I’ve seen,”

What’s next...you gonna make a movie about yourself!! Stop trying to claim some moral authority over everyone else. My family did their job in harms way, fought hard and bravely, saw all the horrors of war and saved thousands of lives ...don’t you ever claim you are better than them you son of a bitch.

BTW, I was just watching a memorial on the guy..turns out he did some amazing things along the way..helped a lot of people regardless of political stripe. And he called out his own party quite a bit.

You’re not worth any more of my time!

Good to hear. He was a lying communist propagandist. He never answered a question honestly if it made liberal look bad, and he would deflect the answer by slinging mud at someone else.

Fox wasn’t fair and balanced with him around, there is nothing fair or balanced about being lied to.

” He was a good man “

No, he wasn’t. He was a lying liberal propagandist and there is nothing good about liberals who try to enslave us.

When you hear of a patient who has had cancer for many years but is said to have died after ‘sudden illness’, that often means the patient made the decision to stop further treatment except for palliative care and wait for their expected demise.

Chemo can be very, very rough on the body when the disease comes back or metastasizes. Maybe Alan had simply had enough ‘treatments’ and was tired of the fight.

**One Selfish Thought;
I hope Alan spoke to Monica, his sister in law and told her to get back with the Trump Administration asap. Don’t let the jealous naysayers scare you off.” She was accused of plagerism. Yeah, that never seemed to both Joe Biden at all!.

I always liked Alan Colmes. Always seemed a decent fellow with a sense of humor. I was never a big Hannity fan - for me a talentless neoconservative. But the two of them together had a decent show. Hannity often prevailed, but on one occasion I can recall, when the guest was a tax protester, Colmes actually let the man speak and acted the grown-up, unlike his co-host.

RIP and condolences to the family. Too young.

he was better than most, and that is way to young to die.....sympathies to his family....

however, he was a diehard and even with facts shoved in his face, he reacted like every other liberal rat.....denied the truth...
